Where do we start? It’s easy and fun… Follow us.
-
Tell us about your Website needs.
One of our account executives specializing in website development will be assigned to
you. Consider them your personal project manager. They will take control of your
website project from our end and make sure everything goes according to plan. This will
allow you to focus on your normal day-to-day task
-
Register your Domain Name (i.e. mycompany.com).
This is the address an Internet user will type into their browser to access your business’s
website. Our packages include registration pricing for 1-year. Upon request we can
register it for up to 10-years. The more years you register the more discount in pricing.
-
Define your website’s navigation.
This is how a user will move through your site. This is probably the most important
aspect of a website. If a user can’t intuitively move through your website and find the
information they are looking for, they will probably move on.
We make sure users can find there way through your site by utilizing three types of
navigation.
a. Global Navigation. These navigation links can be found at the top and sometimes
bottom of every page on your website. They allow the user to quickly navigate to the
various "channels" of your website from any page. An example of this would be Home,
Services, etc.
b. Local Navigation. These navigation links are displayed on the left hand side of your
website for the selected channel. It displays the current selected channel and any links to
pages under that channel. An example of this would be Services as the selected channel,
and Web Solutions would be a page under that channel.
c. Breadcrumb Trail Navigation. These navigation links are displayed on each content
page and loop back up the channel structure based on the currently selected page. It
gives the user the ability to navigate back up the channels with a single click. An
example of this would be: Home > Services > Web Solutions.
-
Write your own website content.
Once we help you define your navigation, it is up to you to write the content for each of
those pages. We turn this over to you, because you know your business better than
anyone else, and can utilize the right jargon used for your business. As you are doing
this, we will be working on Step 4 and will meet back together at Step 5.
-
Define a look-and-feel for your website.
You want to be consistent with the look-and-feel of your website for branding your
business image and most importantly provide users with a common interface (layout) so
they can quickly become familiar and accustomed to it. We do this by producing website
templates to provide your website with this common interface.
Choose from our "Custom" or "Existing" website options below:
a. Custom Website Template
We build your website template from ground-up based on your requirements.
Our
graphic designers take your specifications and produce a
design that best illustrates and markets your business. As with all of our custom
graphics services you get 1 concept, with 2 revisions.
b. Existing Website Template
If you don’t need customization for your website you can choose from our
existing templates. These websites are discounted, since the
site layout has already been produced. The layout cannot be modified, but we
will give you a single revision to incorporate your company name, slogan, logo,
and one industry related image at no additional charge.
-
Integrate your design and content into a website.
Once you are satisfied with the website template and have your content ready to go, we
then pass both over to our web developers. They then convert and optimize the design
into a web page format, and add your content.
-
Review, Revise, and Finalize.
From here you will have the chance to review and make content related revisions to your
website one more time before it is ready to be published to the Internet. Just document
any requested changes and email them over. Some examples of this would be navigation
changes, content revision and correction, etc.
