NADA trustingly chose Velocity Software to build a new Information Management system to replace the 3 separate legacy systems used to drives its company’s main operations. These legacy systems included Sales, Accounting, and Fulfillment systems.

Based on the given vision, Velocity Software took an open systems approach to the design and development of this new Information System to allow it to grow and scale with NADA’s long-term business objectives. A scalable Relation Database Management System was used for its high-volume historical data storage needs. A Web-based application was built to allow for faster deployment and easier application management. The system was configured in an Intranet/Extranet environment to securely support both its internal and external support staff.

This new system not only gave them the functionality of the old systems, but much more. It surpassed the functionality provided by their legacy systems and gave them all the new features they needed today to successfully transact business. It was flexible enough to change with their business. The data is now centralized so it only has to be input once, and can be viewed across departments based on the user’s security rights.

Their data now flows with ease, putting the right information at their fingertips, and allowing them to make better informed decisions faster.
