Cornell Technical Services Inc., an IT firm that manages over 350 consultants for over 75 plus Fortune 1000 clients across the US, was seeking a solution to help them communicate more effectively with their consultants, while allowing them to reduce the management overhead for their accounts.

Velocity Software turned the vision of Cornell Technical Services into reality. Working closely with Cornell’s Executive Management Team, Velocity Software was able to devise a plan that best fit their vision and needs. Within months that plan was made into reality.

Their new Employee site provided a secure community for employees to correspond with each other, share ideas, communicate with internal staff, and keep up with all of Cornell’s activities. Another main feature of the site included a state-of-the-art Time-Tracking System. This system allowed their consultants to submit their billable timesheets online and have their on-site managers approve them with ease. This eliminated the timely process of account managers going on-site weekly to collect timesheets and ensure their consultants data got successfully transmitted back to their Headquarters in Virginia.
